NanoSteel Co-Chairs Advanced Steel Symposium for MS&T
- October 9, 2017
Every year, NanoSteel participates in MS&T technical program by presenting new achievements in advanced materials and technology development. In a number of recent years (2010, 2013, 2015, 2016 & 2017) NanoSteel took leadership as a Symposium organizer. At this years conference held in Pittsburgh, PA the Symposium was focused on advanced steel development, innovations in steel production and post-processing and perspectives for steel application including lightweighting strategies for next generation vehicle design.
Symposium organizers include:
Emmauel De Moor, Colorado School of Mines, Amar K De, ArcelorMittal Global R&D, Kester Clarke, Colorado School of Mines, Alla V. Sergueeva, NanoSteel, Charles M. Enloe, General Motors, Daniel James Branagan, NanoSteel, and Matthew Thomas Kiser, Caterpillar Inc.
Materials Science & Technology Conference and Exhibition (MS&T) is the most comprehensive forum for materials science and engineering technologies which crosses the boundaries of most materials events by bringing together a broad range of technical sessions and expertise through the strengths of six major materials organizations: The American Ceramic Society (ACerS), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), ASM International, Metallurgy and Materials Society of CIM (MetSoc), NACE International, and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).
NanoSteel joins MS&T this year as industry leaders presenting “Structures and Mechanisms Enabling Cold Formability In NanoSteel 3rd Generation AHSS,' on October 9th at 340pm.
